Peter Whitsey

Peter, a distinguished professional, joined Baker Tilly Channel Islands in February 2022, bringing a decade of invaluable experience from a 'Big 4' accountancy firm.

A graduate of Loughborough University in 2012, Peter is recognised as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, having earned his admission to membership in 2016 and subsequently obtaining his Practicing Certificate in 2022. 

In his role as Client Director, Peter plays a pivotal role, closely collaborating with the Channel Islands team to ensure the seamless operation of Assurance and Advisory practices, all while ensuring client satisfaction. 

Serving as the Head of Regulatory Services, Peter extends his expertise to provide Regulatory Assurance and Advisory services to regulated clients. His diverse experience encompasses clients reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP within the financial services sector, covering private equity, real estate, investment management, and fund administration. 

Away from the office, Peter is a keen golfer.
